Value Scale Color Wheel 1. Discuss what you thought about creating the Value Scale and Color Wheel. Creating the Value Scale and the Color Wheel was actually very fun. I thought that it would be tedious at first but it turned out to be simple and exciting. Doing this project reminded me of when I created my art projects in high school. Although at first I could not perfect them, I eventually was able to make creations that I was satisfied with. 2. Which media did you enjoy working with the best and why? I did enjoy creating the Color Wheel more than the Value Scale. I liked seeing how vibrant the colors were and how they blended well on the wheel. The value scale just did not give me the proudest feeling after I finished creating it. Working with the colors brought me more excitement because of how it stood out to me. 3. The natural light along with the lights from the buildings and the buildings themselves creates an image that illustrates unity. 2. Color: The combination of bright, vibrant colors that fills the fish captures a variety of colors. 3. Contrast: The image that is created by dots has dark shades in some areas and light shades in others. The focus of the image can be drawn more toward the center because of how the light hits it. 4. Shape: This image illustrates a combination of regular and irregular shapes. The overlapping of the shapes helps to create one large shape. 5. Blog Topic: Color Theory and Emotional Effects 1. Describe Color and it's effects on emotions. Use the appropriate vocabulary of color in your posting.   It is intriguing to see the major role that color plays not only in the lives of painters but in the work of the paintings themselves. Artists have the ability to capture an audience with the techniques they use and how they are able to play around with color. Various colors give artists inspiration for their work. Different colors evoke different emotions, and as viewers we often feel a certain way based on the colors we see. There are cool and warm colors and based on the use of them, artists can achieve particular moods. With bright colors, a person can get a sense of happiness while looking at them, and with dark colors a person might feel sad or angry. With value, there are certain parts of a painting that can be expressed differently. A painter might use a combination of colors such as red and green to express how t

1. How was the process of creating the  GMail  account and setting up the  Blog ? The process for setting up the blog and creating the Gmail account was simple and straightforward. 2. What do you expect to learn in this course I expect to expand my knowledge about the little I do know about art and gain a better insight into new aspects of art such as art itself and various artists. 3. How do you feel about taking an  online  course? I love the idea of taking an online class. It gives me the opportunity to plan in a way that best suits me being that I do not have to physically attend class. 4.
